Todd was a 1st team All-State high school basketball player scoring 1,215 career points en route to winning the State and Federation Tournaments, including an MVP performance where he set (and still holds to this day) the all-time record for free throws made in a NYS Championship game (going 19-19). This concluded his team’s season with a 28-0 record. He turned down a Division 2 basketball scholarship at Eckerd College in favor of majoring in his desired program going on to compete as a varsity player at Ithaca College.
